Daniel S. Mensh, “Danny”, is President of Mensh Insurance, an independent insurance agency started in 1968 by his Father, Jeffrey C. Mensh. Danny is Certified in Long Term Care by earning his professional CLTC Designation and is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table per national production qualification guidelines. He has specialized in the Long Term Care Insurance marketplace since 1996 and has worked with individuals and businesses in the design and implementation of policies and multi-life programs. Corporate plans have ranged from just 1 or 2 employees and spouses in a single location to over 100 employees and spouses in various states throughout the country as well as the coordination of multiple Voluntary Long Term Care Accounts.

Danny is nationally recognized as an LTC Insurance specialist and has spoken at national conferences for The Arthritis Foundation (Amelia Island, FL) and the Long Term Care Sales Conference (Miami, FL) as well as at The Long Term Care Resource Center at Duke University Hospital. As a result of speaking engagements and published articles, Danny has enjoyed multiple partnerships and joint venture with benefits shops and financial advisors throughout the country who seek assistance in LTC and Disability Insurance sales.

In addition, Danny maintains independence in the Disability and Life Insurance markets and brings underwriting experience to each client situation. Depending upon goals of the individual or employer, consideration is taken to determine the best options and most suitable carriers for full underwriting, simplified issue, or guaranteed standard issue plans.

Danny is originally from Bethesda, MD where he attended Landon School before going to Duke University where he graduated in 1996. He is an avid golfer and enjoys coaching his sons in Lacrosse, Football, and Basketball in the Winston Salem/Triad NC area. In addition, Danny serves on the Board of the Triad Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and Chairs the Annual Blanton Vogler Golf Tournament in the Spring to benefit JDRF.
